Bournemouth and Winchester get the treatment....

taxdoctor headed back to the coast last week and hit the town of Bournemouth. Famed for apparently having as many squirrel inhabitants as humans(or so we were told). The team didn't have too much time to squirrel spot however as it seems the students of Bournemouth have tax problems aplenty.

We were based just outside the main cafe and shops area. Lots of people stopped by for a chat. Thanks to Tommy who gave us lots of tips on how to get the best out of the Wii.

After leaving Bournemouth on Tuesday the team enjoyed a rest day before heading to the Uni of Winchester. Although small in number of students Winchester has a lovely feel to the campus. Everyone was really friendly and as it was quieter we got to have some more in-depth chats with students regarding their tax issues.

A special thank you needs to be said to Tim Moss who has the rather grand title of "Representation & union Development Coordinator". He couldn't do enough for us on the day and taxdoctor is extremely grateful.

taxdoctor starts it's journey up the country this week with the next stop being Nottingham Trent. Look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you Brunel......

On Thursday the 3rd May the taxdoctor tour bus rolled into the bustling University of Brunel, West London.

Brunel have spent loads of money on their campus in recent years and it really showed. The main students union was a great place to spend some time.

the team set up camp just inside the night club (which unfortunately wasn't open for business!)Throughout the day people stopped by to play on the Wii and get some tax advice thrown in too. We ran out of lollies again and i think every student in Brunel will be using a taxdoctor pen in their forthcoming exams!

We have been inundated with sign-ups since leaving Brunel and it seems there are lots of students determined to get back what's rightfully theirs.

The tour moves on to Bournemouth next week, hopefully see you there!

Plymouth goes a Wii taxdoctor crazy!

The first stop on the taxdoctor.co.uk tour 2007 was the coastal University of Plymouth.

The team arrived bright and early. They set up the taxdoctor advice zone and more importantly for some people (notably big john the American student) the amazing Nintendo Wii.

Plymouth students had just started exams but there was still a steady flow of people in and out of the Student's Union.

Pens and lollies were handed out with gusto. The team were on hand to give tax advice to the many students who dropped by on the day.

A special thanks to Pauline in the Union reception who made us so welcome and helped make everything run smoothly.

Thank you Plymouth.

Next stop Brunel!
